A one layered card is something I seldom do. It's just difficult for me! I always think that I need to add something to the white space to make it less empty. So I've tried my best to stick to *really* just one layered, but I still added some pearls to it. Haha..
Lighting isn't too good, because my paper turned yellow in the picture! Boo. It should be white. Haha..
So, I'm linking this up with CASE Study: Out of the Box Challenge! Do join their 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop too!! Amazing prizes waiting :D
And I'm also entering this into Lawnscaping Challenge: One Layer!
Alright! Till the next time then.. (:
Second card done for Teacher's Day this year! (: Without further ado, *ta da*
I used the color given by CR84FN60 Color Challenge - Grape, Blue and Green! Yummy color combination!
I am also linking this to Cas-ual Fridays - CFC65: Square Cards Challenge (:
Alright, have a great weekend everyone! Thanks for dropping by~
Teacher's Day is gonna be here soon - in less than a month! Created my first teacher's day card this year (: Spent quite some time on cutting the leaves out and sticking them onto the tree. This is almost a one-layered card. but I love how it turned out in the end! *Grins*
And it has a decorated interior too!
I'm also linking this up to Cas-ual Friday CFC64: On Cloud 9 Challenge! Yay!
Thanks for dropping by (: Have a great Sunday and a fresh new week ahead!
I love to have some time to myself and make some cards, especially when I'm pretty stressed up with work. So this is the card which helped to relieve a little of the stress (:
Finally found some time to update this little space here. Work has been busy this month! Anyway, some time ago I did a small and simple birthday card for a BIG friend! (: I'm also entering this card into Moxie Fab World: The Birthday Card Session.
Will be meeting her soon! Hee! Hope she will like it! If you are looking for a card, check out my shop above or email me at email@example.com (:
Love loves! Have a great week ahead!
Felt so happy after making two cards today! Hee. And I'm finally back to entering some challenges. These challenges always give me new inspirations for my cards, just love playing along!
So here's the first card that I've made today, which I'm entering it for Lawnscaping Challenge #37,
CR84FN Color Challenge - CR84FN58,
and also to Moxie Fab World: Stamp It! Cards Week: The Love Card Challenge!
I die cut the buildings, stamped the words and colored the background using yellow ink and make-up sponges.
Moving on to my second card! Made this for CFC60, I really like the card inspirations by the guest designer and the design team!
And also for Moxie Fab World: Stamp It! Cards Week: The Birthday Card Challenge! Gosh, they have lots of beautiful cards there!
So here's my take:
I just love how the negative of the die cut butterfly turned out here, accompanied by my favorite embellishments! :D
Alright, that's all I have today! Happy weekend folks!
It's been a loooooong while since I last updated this blog! I got a new job and have been really busy trying to adapt to it. Haha..
Anyway, though I didn't had time to make cards for challenges, I haven't been lazy! Did some customized cards for orders that I've received.
Here are the birthday cards:
And my first ever Thank you card! I just love the butterfly!
I'm in the process of making new birthday cards! Check back soon for more updates! :D
Till then, stamp happy!
This is my first entry to challenges at A Blog Named Hero!! It's only their second challenge and I'm so excited! There are so many beautiful cards on it and totally inspired me to make one of my own too!
So here's my take on this challenge!
My window to the world at sunset. Yeah, I love sunsets! Beautiful and peaceful. It's just so magical!
And yes! Butterflies are a must!
Not forgetting ribbons and buttons (my favorite two embellishments) and a nice sentiment to go along!
Alright! That's all I have today for you (: Leave me some loves before you press the X button at the top right hand corner! =P
Made a card using 2 opposite colors on the color wheel, a challenge by CAS-ual Friday!
I'm using Orange and Blue for my card! So here's my take on it.
I love orange buttons!!
And the sentiment reads - Enjoy your day, stamped and embossed in black.
I decorated the inside of the card too!
Alright, do leave me some loves! Thanks for dropping by (:
I'm finally done with the little handmade cards with a box for my Mom this Mother's Day! :D I made 3 cards so that my siblings and I each have a card to write our message.
Each of my card was inspired by Hero Arts card sketch for the April Challenge!
And here's my take on each of the sketch:
The heart on the tag was stamped and heat embossed to give a little more texture! I used one of the heart stamps from Friend You're the Best stamp set (:
The sentiment - I'm so blessed to call you Mom is from Because of You stamp set! I curled the sentiment to create a wavy effect.
The second card..
I used the love stamp from Floral Blossoms stamp set for the only sentiment of this card. The chinese character was stamped in cherry pink and embossed.
Ribbons and buttons are my favorite embellishments! I added the heart pins to go along with my favorite combination.
And my last card for the last sketch!
The flowers were stamped, heat embossed in white several times, cut out and layered. There were from the Floral Blossoms stamp set, but I only used 2 of the flowers from that stamp. Haha!
And again, the sentiment - Happy Mother's Day was from Because of You stamp set!
Last but not least, the card box!
I used the Knock Outs border punch to punch the Scalloped Lace border for the cover of my box.
Then I used the rose frame from the Garden Frames stamp set, stamped and heat embossed in gold.
I colored my roses using Versacraft inks and heat embossed Mom in white. The word Mom was from Because of You stamp set!
Tada! My mother's day gift for the super woman of the house! :D
